What this is about
These terms apply to the use of the website perusandboarding.com. Peru Sandboarding is an independent guide to sandboarding on the dunes of Peru: Huacachina near Ica and its dune buggy tours, Cerro Blanco near Nasca, the dunes south of Lima, the desert of Paracas and the other dunes listed in the national tourism inventory. We do not sell tours, boards, buggy rides or transport ourselves.
Who sells your tour
If you book a tour through one of our links, you enter into the contract on the website of GetYourGuide or Viator with that platform or with the respective tour operator. Their terms and conditions apply. They are responsible for the tour, payments, rebookings, and cancellations, not we.
Prices and availability
Prices on this website are starting prices and are for orientation only. If you convert them into another currency, we use reference rates from the European Central Bank; the result is an approximate value. Only the price and availability shown by GetYourGuide or Viator before booking are binding.
Sand, Sun and Vehicles on the Dunes
Sandboarding is a physical activity on steep, loose sand under a strong desert sun, and many outings reach the slopes by dune buggy or 4x4. Peru's tourism board currently advises visitors against dune buggy services because the activity is neither regulated nor officially supervised; whether you take part is your own decision, and the operator's safety rules, age limits and health limits apply. Which dunes, boards, vehicles, stops and timings you get is set by the listing and option you book and by its operator, so read its details before you pay. Our information on fees, distances, rules and climate is based on the sources we cite on each page and does not replace the current notices of the authorities or of the operator.
